Full support for a semantic data integration workflow
There has been produced a user-friendly demonstrator tool, which provides full support for a semantic data integration workflow in the e-Food project (work package Selecting, Combining and Interpreting Distributed Experimental Food Data).
Integration tab for specifying how to integrete the data
This allows users to easily find and integrate data from different spreadsheets. The integration tool demonstrates the power of semantic information to make a real difference to researchers by supporting them in their workflows, and relieving them of tedious tasks.
Money spent
Making data available in this way, so that it is easily searchable and can be easily integrated with other data, greatly increases the chances of reuse, getting much more benefit out of the money spent on research.
