Dr. Ellen Wilschut

Works for TNO

Ellen Wilschut is working as a researcher at TNO.

She studied Cognitive Psychology at the University of Groningen. She did her PhD work at IFADO in Germany concerning the effects of in-vehicle information displays on mental workload and divided attention.

Currently, she is working on the effects and evaluation of driver support systems on driver behaviour at the Research Department of Perceptual and Cognitive Systems of TNO. This includes driving simulator and instrumented vehicle experiments to analyze the effects of these systems on driver workload and performance.

She is involved in several projects related to fatigue in applied settings, part of which with psychophysiology like heart rate, eye measures and brain activity.
