Dr. Nicolas Pronost

Nicolas Pronost is Assistant Professor in the Games and Virtual Worlds research group.

Nicolas Pronost studied Computer Science at University of Rennes 1 (France), where he obtained his PhD on the topic of kinematic and dynamic character animation in 2006 and worked within the SIAMES/Bunraku project at INRIA/IRISA Laboratory.

Later, he became a postdoctoral researcher at the State Key Lab of CAD and CG at Zheijiang University (China), and a postdoctoral researcher (Marie Curie Experienced Researcher) in the VRLab at EPFL (Switzerland).

The main topics of his work are the analysis and the synthesis of human motions for biomechanical simulation and animation.
