My research interest include exploration of architectural level to performance analysis level problems in Database systems, Operating systems and Distributed systems. I have a profound interest in the use of technology for research related to the socio-economic development (ICTD). I was a member of Storage Systems Research Center (SSRC) at UCSC. I was also a member of Perceptual Science Laboratory at UCSC, where I was associated with CITRIS, which works in the area of "Use of technology for development of society".
