Role in project
The project will develop showcases that will help Elsevier find new directions and demonstrate future Elsevier capabilities on already existing data. Elsevier provides a strong business case and real world requirements for the linked data e-science infrastructure developed in P23. Elsevier will play an active role in the design, development and testing of showcase scenarios in WP4 and WP6. Access to Elsevier content and in-frastructure will provide a unique test bed for linked data use in e-science, allowing P23 partners to research and develop their technology with real data, and demonstrate its socio-economic value.
