Christoph Kofler, a PhD. student at TU Delft under supervision of the Projectleider of SEALINCMedia (Socially-enriched access to linked cultural media) Alan Hanjalic and Martha Larson was awarded the Google European Doctoral Fellowship on Video Search 2013 based on his work on video search intent (one of the core topics in his work package of the SEALinc project.

This award is a recognition of the relevance and significance of one of the main research topics in SEALINCMedia, but also for the quality with which the realization of this topic has been pursued. The fact that this recognition comes from one of the world-biggest stakeholders in video search, Google, makes it even more valuable.
