On 11 November 2015 Gijs Huisman (who recently won the COMMIT/Media Award) will give a talk on Tedx Saxion University in Enschede. Huisman works for COMMIT/project VIEWW  on Touch at a distance. Together with Aduen Darriba Frederiks he developed TaSST (Tactile Sleeve for Social Touch), a wearable, smart-textile sleeve, to to communicate through touch over a distance.

Vrij Nederland recently indicated Gijs as one of the most interesting 'technologists' in the Netherlands. A good reason to visit his TEDx Talk!
